Youth Sports 2008-09

FLAG FOOTBALL (YOUTH) - Fall-out will be Monday, August 25th. Two playing divisions: Ages 7 – 9 and Ages 10 – 12. Fall-out is August 25 at 5:15pm for ages 7 – 9 and 5:45pm for ages 10 – 12. The age cut-off is August 1st. (If a youth is currently 9 but turns 10 before Aug. 1st he/she is considered a 10-year-old.) The registration deadline is August 23rd. League play will begin on Tuesday, September 9th. League games Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:15 pm & 6:15 pm @ PC September 9 – October 2. Players will receive Replica ‘NFL’ flag football jerseys.

$35 for YMCA members and $50 for non-members.

YOUTH SOCCER - Fall-out will be Monday, October 6th. There will be three (3) playing divisions: Ages 4 – 5, Ages 6 – 8, and Ages 9 – 12. Fall-out will be at 5:15pm for ages 4 – 5; 5:45pm for ages 6 – 8 and 6:15pm for ages 9 – 12 on October 6th. The cut-off date for birthdates for soccer is September 1st. Registration deadline is September 29th. League games will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:00 pm @ PC Oct. 21 – Nov. 13. Ages 4 – 5 meet once weekly on Mondays. Nov. 18-20 make-up dates.

$35 for YMCA members and $50 for Non-members $ 17.50 and $ 25 for Ages 4 – 5 (Meet once weekly)

2009 YOUTH YMCA BASKETBALL - Fall-out Thursday, January 8th for all age groups. Basics meet Mondays and Thursdays @ 4 pm. Mini-Mites meet Tuesdays and Fridays at 4 pm. Jr. Mite, Mites, Girls and Midgets will play league games each Tuesday and Saturday. League games begin Saturday, January 24 thru Saturday, February 21 with games being played each Tuesday and Saturday. Teams practice Jan. 12 – Jan. 23 twice weekly. Teams will then practice once weekly and play twice weekly once the season begins. League games are January 24, 27, 31 and February 3, 7, 10,14, 17 and 21. Registration deadline is January 1, 2009.

The cut-off birth date is September 1, 2008.
